I heard a clicking/buzzing from my heater while pump was running. Heater was not on. The pad had an error message that said Fault Check Versaflow. Then it also had a message saying maintain spa heat with a temp reading of 19 degrees which was not correct since actual water temp was 70.
I flipped the breaker and cut off power for a few minutes and turned it all back on and everything was cleared. I ran the heater for a few minutes and no issues.
We did have a power outage yesterday if that matters.
Everything seems to be working now but I’m curious if anyone knows anything about the versa flow issue in general and if it comes back where do I begin fixing? Can I just override and do without versa flow ?
***** also worth noting is that I don’t have a bypass on my heater and isn’t that what the versaflo is?

After a lot of research today I have my own theory. If anyone knows much about these heaters feel free to confirm my thought or tell me I’m way off.
My JXI unit does not have a heater bypass but the unit itself has the capability for one to be added. When I had a power outage and power was restored the unit came back online and Versaflo bypass valve may have been activated and since I do not have the valve at all I was getting the error code. I cut power and reset and it came back online with the Versaflo deactivated and no issue since.
