Jandy heater/chiller JE3000TR not going into chiller mode

I had the Jandy JE3000TR installed when we built the pool back in 2018. I have never needed to use the chiller function until this year. The problem is that when I go to the unit and switch it to Chiller mode, it never comes on (works great for heating). I get a message stating "Remote T-stat Enabled". I have tried searching for an answer but I can not find anything. I do have Aqualink 2.0 which I use to operate the heater and it works great. Any suggestions on what I need to do?

I only work on gas units. This is an electric heat pump.
