Jandy Heat Pump Problem - Please Help

Fired up the heat pump and it has a loud buzzing noise. What is this?
Could be a contactor going bad or the noise of the compressor. The contactor is operated by low voltage (24V) and is a magnetic switch that opens and closes a high voltage circuit (240V). If it is that, it is $175- $215 in a Jandy box, or $12.84 from Amazon. Its just a generic 24VAC coil, dual pole 240V A/C contactor. If you don't know what you are doing, don't do it.

Thanks I will test that, I am hoping it isn't the compressor.... It is much louder than it sounds in the video. It used to always make some noise but it is much louder.

It was kind of related to the contactor.... Once I opened the panel there was a burned wire from the CAP to the contactor. The wire burned right off the spade connector. I tested the contactor and the cap and both were good. The spade connector was very loose so I cut off the burned wire and made a new jumper from cap to the contactor and made sure the spade was tight. Working fine now for a few days so I will assume it was burned because it was a loose connection. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
