Jandy DEV60 filter manifold continously cracking

I was wondering if anybody else has had problems with the grid manifold top cracking.
I'm tired of replacing the stupid part. In the past six years, I have already bought at least four and epoxied three of those to try to re-use it.
At this point, I keep a spare ready all the time since I will most likely need it next time I open the filter to clean it.
It is ridiculous...
Is it only me, or has anybody else had this issue?

I have a DEV60 that is going on its 6th season and I had to replace the manifold one time because it had a crack in it. I blamed the pool builder because they closed the pool after my first season and "cleaned" my filter. I think they screwed the top nut on too tight and cracked it. Maybe that is why yours is breaking.

Most cracked manifolds are from filter cleaning neglect or improper care. You need to find the cause of the issue replacing the manifold 3 times is not common. You used to have a Hayward filter and you replaced it with a jandy? Pictures of equipment? Have you used floc or phosphate treatments? Are you charging the filter with DE every time it’s cleaned and or backwashed? Are you breaking the filter down and cleaning it or just backwashing?
