Jandy Aquapure shows flow at 600rpm

Does this sound right? I've seen older posts saying folks have a minimum of 1000-1200 rpm for their SWG, but I've dropped mine down to 600rpm and it shows Flow and Cell On.
I'm wanting to run longer at lower rpm to save energy, and don't have very much skimming need.

Jandy VS Plus HP (VSPHP270DV2A)
 
If it is happy, you are happy. Though running below 1000 rpm normally does not move much water. I personally would not go below 1000 rpm.
