Jandy Aqualink resets daily to 1/6/2009

I have the Jandy pro series Aqualink remote for my pool and every day the program for our filter pump is deleted and it defaults the date on the remote back to January 6, 2009. I have replaced the battery at the control panel I was told I might need a new control panel. What are your thoughts?

Since you have replaced the battery at the panel, suggest that you do a reset on the board. It is that pin hole above the buttons that go from Auto, Service, etc. Alternatively cut power to the whole system and let it reboot.
