I'm having trouble changing my VS pump speed. I'm assuming I can change on the PDA. I thought I did that but it keeps reverting back to 3,040 rpm. I'm trying to set it to around 2,000.

Can someone tell me how to make the change via PDA or from the pump display screen?

What is your medium speed set for? Changing the speed on the PDA should immediately change the speed and that speed should remain until the next "thing" that calls for a different speed. That could be a heater, chiller, scheduled event, or anything that does a speed change.

Your "Pool" label is the default speed. Do not change the name of that as it is a keyword. Don't change any keywords. On mine, Pool, Temp1 and Temp2 are keywords not to be changed.

I don't even see Pool label anywhere, and don't have (or haven't found) an interface like yours, maybe that's a newer product.

You listed Aqualink "RS" do you have an RS system or PDA system? Do you only have a PDA antenna or a WiFi antenna as well? Do you program your Aqualink with the PDA?

In any case, there is a programming section somewhere with the keywords. Typically this is under the VSP setup. I am not exactly what your keywords would be as it is an older system.

I think I figured it out. I went into System Setup and it looks like the Pool label was changed to High Speed, so I changed back to Pool and set that speed to 2,100 rpm.

And this is the "communication device" for my PDA.

Here's a side question on pump speed. If you run the pump at a lower speed (2,100) do they need to run it longer to get similar water turnover as a pump run at higher speeds (3,000) but for less time?

Turnover is meaningless.
Run the pump for a reason. Generating your chlorine or distributing your chlorine, second is skimming.

Hey, thanks for all the help.
