At the end of my first SLAM day 2, I ran out of the drops needed to read high FC levels. My goal is 31 FC, and I think I was there last night -- the diluted sample water was pink and reading 25 FC when the bottle of Taylor R-0871 emptied. None of the local pool shops carry a replacement, and online ordering will take at least 2 days. I also have a basic test kit. Please suggest what I might do to remain at shock level and not lose all the time, money, and effort I've invested.
I've run out of FAS-DPD titrating reagent mid-slam. Suggestions?

While I would love to give you a way, it's impossible. This is why we recomend the testing method, it goes high enough. But, the basic K-2006 has very little or the reagents in the kit.

Thanks for your response. I plan to toss in bleach in the amount I needed yesterday morning and keep scrubbing, vacuuming, and backwashing twice a day until my order arrives. My pool is still cloudy, so I'm not ready for the overnight test yet. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!
Yeah I've had good luck with very quick shipping from TFTestkits and your plan for continuing the SLAM will suffice until the reagent arrives.
