A little over 3 weeks ago I had some service done on my pool equipment. The tech replaced a leaking adaptor on the water line connected to the Polaris motor (see photo for adaptor replaced).
The next day I noticed the cleaner was not moving as fast as before in the pool. I reached out to the tech and he said most likely air in the line and it would work it's way out and figured, ok, no problem. I waited over a week due to holidays and then I noticed that the same adaptor appeared to have a small leak again and the cleaner still moving slow. Tech not available to come out for a while and it also appears the leak stopped which is strange.
In my own trouble shooting, I thought it may be the backflow on the cleaner as I noticed it was weak. Replaced it with a new backflow and still same issue with a slow moving cleaner.
Then I decided to check the in-line filter on the water line that's connected to the cleaner. I found what appears to be pieces of black plastic in the filter (see photo). Now, I am wondering if a larger piece of plastic may be stuck inside the water line, therefore decreasing the water pressure to the cleaner, but when I unscrewed the water line from the jet on the wall, the water feels like its coming out forcefully, so not sure it's the water pressure.
Any other items I can check?
Thanks,
