Is this stand pipe for a spa blower and would it be good to install one?

And yet another update. I just can't stop tinkering with this blower! The air was still a little intense with just a single exhaust so now I have two. One of them is fully open and the other has the ball valve for adjusting. This configuration with the ball valve partially open as pictured gets it just about right. Still very quiet all around.
