We are getting close to completing our inground pool with the builder. We should be spraying plaster in the next couple weeks.
Question: There is a threaded plug on the inside of the bottom drain. The builder says it’s a hydrostatic plug that can be removed if we ever drain the pool in the future.
i thought there was supposed to be a hydrostatic valve instead of a plug. I thought the valve popped open automatically when the ground water presssure got too high.
Is it ok to have a threaded plug vs a valve?
