I don't see any buildup of calcium on the plates just a little tarnish.
To me it seems good, but wanted to check with the experts.

So far its been two seasons with no cleaning and working fine far as I can tell.

I went 9 years on my first cell, never having cleaned it once.
That's good to know. How do you tell when the cell is going out?
I thought mine was going this summer, but it turned out to be the excess heat and sunshine. Cranked it up to 70% on a 12hr pump cycle and the Chlorine level was good. Ended up turning it down ~ 50% for the last month or so,

An iChlor30 is undersized for a 23K pool.

We recommend a SWG be at least 2X the pool volume.

When your iChlor30 dies it should be replaced with an IntelliChlor IC40 that uses the same Power Center.

That is why your cell looked like it was going out in peak summer.

I just wanted to report back that the iChlor 30 is spotless again at the end of this season. That makes 3 seasons without cleaning or even checking during the summer.
That is the way it should be with correct water chemistry.
