Is this a failed gasket/seal?

Looks like it's probably a cracked housing. Hard to tell for sure until you take it apart and examine it closely.

The IntelliPro is the same as the Max-E-Pro 3 hp but with a variable speed motor.

Some places sell an IntelliFlo pump in a black color instead of almond color as an IntelliPro.

So, there are two versions of the IntelliPro.

How old is the pump?

If it's super old, maybe consider replacing the pump if the tank body is going to cost hunderds of dollars.

Save the old pump for parts.

It’s only about 3 years old

Can you tell if the housing is cracked when you turn the pump on and off?

Contact Pentair and ask for a new housing under warranty if it's cracked.

What is the normal filter pressure?

There should be a label with a barcode and a manufacturing date. What is the date on the label?

I can’t see any visible signs of cracking where the water is spewing out.

Upon closer inspection, I do indeed see a crack

Upon closer inspection, I do see a crack along the house under the V-clamp. Thanks for your input!
