Is there an advantage to connecting new VS700 pump to prologic board?

So the pump has its own timer settings so what does adding to the Prologic benefit me? Does it offer heater protection if flow too low? Any advantage at all?

Connection to the ProLogic will give remote control over the system. If the flow is too low, the heater's safety system is the protection.
