Is there a tftestkits "TF-100 Salt" refill option?

Just add the salt reagents you need...

Yes, I can do that, but the "individual reagents" section is super expensive compared to the "kits".

i.e. the salt "reagent kit" costs $36 for the two reagents, graduated cylinder and case, or $18 per bottle. By way of comparison, the TF-100 refill kit contains 12 reagent bottles for $56, or $4.67 per bottle.

Cost of above = $36 + $56 = $92

Separate salt reagent ends most of the savings / defeats the purpose of using the "TF-100 refill kit" (no salt). This is because the totally new TF-100 "Salt" Kit is $105.

I think it seems a fair, natural question to ask why they don't do refill kits for all their "base" kits. If they can't do it for whatever reason, or the salt reagents really are that much more expensive, then that's what it is. TFtestkits has done a great job for me, and I've been happy with my past purchases.

Hello! I've played with the idea of including the salt reagents in a separate refill set option, but haven't acted on it as less than 25% of the refill sets we sell are adding the salt reagents. This year we started including the salt reagents in our 20% off sale in March. As the proportion of salt pools to regular pools continues to shift towards salt, I plan to create a new salt refill option, but can't say exactly when as it presents some logistical questions for our production line.

It's also worth noting that the cost of purchasing the two salt reagents individually is $26, not $36. You do not have to purchase the K-1766 kit each time. See here for all of our salt reagent options.

The two reagents used in the salt test are very stable and can be accurate for multiple years. They do not need to be replaced every one to two years like other reagents in the test kit. You really only need to replace them when they are used up.

Wow thank you everyone- super useful as always! I went with TF-100 plus individual bottles for the salt reagents for a total of $82. Add $9 for shipping so instead picked up the pH meter for $18 to convert the order to free shipping, making the pH meter effectively $9.
