Is my robot causing this?

Hi, yesterday I received my new EVO iQ robot. Used it, saw it work and it is great. I am having this problem where just a few hours after cleaning, I've seen dirt collect back again. This happened yesterday and then again today.

I also did setup a pool basketball hoop and we have four balls that often go miss the hoop and go to the dirt landscape behind it, so I'm curious if those dirty basketballs may be contributing? I had a pool party yesterday with 10-12 people so I thought maybe it was that. However, today the robot cleaned the pool at around 6pm (first picture) and then swam in it with my wife and we used the basketballs again, and by 10pm I saw dirt accumulate again (second picture).

I am worried about if I have a leak in the filter or if it's the robot or it's just the dirt from the basketballs rolling in the soil and then coming into the pool.

Yes, I did an OCLT yesterday night into today, it was fine. Additionally, from what I see visually in the vacuum canister too it looks like dirt.

I was thinking that maybe it's the dirt from the basketballs that roll into the dirt. From the pool deck to the fence is 15 feet of pure dirt, as I recently had weeds removed. We have four basketballs being used. Before the vacuum purchase we did have dirt run off into the pool, but it would be over a few days. This problem started two days ago and we started using the basketballs two days ago as well. They roll into the dirt and then we grab them and jump back in the pool. Picture attached.

Any chance it could be the vacuum or something else?

Wow that was quite a read, especially the part about the mud! I have a lot of dirt that washes from my landscaping so I'll give it a try. I manually vacuumed tonight and will do another OCLT to confirm it's not algae. When manually vacuuming I did find a rock so I do think it's related to landscape dirt and from the balls potentially

You need to rectify the issue of anything flowing into your pool that isn't fill water or rainwater. Mud and organics can easily overcome your chlorine and give you algae. This includes mud from 4 basketballs that miss their target.
