Hi everyone!
Every year I struggle with the pump pot lid, I am usually able to press hard enough and use a wooden spoon to close it. This year I can't get it to thread properly. I used pool silicone and I am not sure if I have it sealed properly. Water is not pouring out as of now but it looks off to me. Can any one tell me if the lid is supposed to look different than I have it. I am attaching pics. Thanks in advance.

If you have no water leaks, the pump primes, and no air bubbles in the pump pit, then the lid is sealed well.

So far there aren't any leaks and everything looks good. 🤞 Bc my luck with this pool is no bueno. Thank you for your quick response! Enjoy your day.
