I have a newly re-plastered (with quartz) in-ground pool. I want to convert it to a salt water pool with a SWG.
I have a old fiberglass filter. It is a Titan Vertical Grid Filter, DE, 48 sq ft, Model 56623100 from American Products.
It says "Suitable for fresh water pool only" so I am concerned I can't convert it to salt water

I have an additional concern about the new LED 120 Volt pool light. It is a ColorSplash XG-W Series from J&J Electronics (model LPL-F2CW-120-100-P 23002).
It says "For freshwater only" so that is not good either, I guess?
Maybe I can get the builder to swap it out if it really is not good for salt water? It's been in there for only 2 weeks and I mentioned I wanted to convert to SWG so he should not have installed this one. Is this really a bad light for a salt pool?

Pump is Pentair SUPERFLO VSP Variable Speed Pump.
Heater is a Pentair MasterTemp 400.
Can I convert to a salt water pool and add a SWG without damaging the filter and pool light?

That's great news. Thanks for the help.
Now I must decide which SWG is best for me.
I don't have any automation yet. Not too much to control (pump, heater, pool light, some backyard lights and now the SWG) so I will have to think and research more about SWGs and automation systems. I don't really need any automation on the SWG but the other stuff would be nice.
Considering the Raspberry Pi so will look into that more after I found some info in TFP forums about it. There's lots of options.
Thanks again PoolStored!
