Is “clarify” the same thing as stabilizer?

Stabilizer is CYA. Flocculant is glue. We don’t recommend flocculant or clarifiers be used.
Steer away from all Clorox pool products. They don’t follow TFP methods.

Try your local hardware store near the garden section. Look for stabilizer or pool conditioner. The main ingredient should be cyanuric acid.
If your looking for conditioner, and need it right away, you can get liquid conditioner from any pool store or dry stabilizer. Both are fine to use. But the dry stabilizer method to Disperse is putting it in a sock by the skimmer Or jet and letting it dissolve over time.

As a last resort find a local pool store. Stabilizer ingredients should say “100% Cyanuric Acid”.
Home depot had it in a jug at the beginning of spring and in bags now. 5lbs for $20ish
