Is a 5-6" step down to/from baja ok? Or tripping hazard?

Baja is 29" from bottom of pool, so if we put that triangle step in middle, it would be a 15" step.

15" step is too high for many folks.

With a 29" rise you need two 9.5" steps.

Dang it. Of course you're right. So, that means repouring steps and bringing them out in square/rectangle bc there's not enough room to make two triangle ones. I guess this is why jobs always run over...

We have a 4-5” step. Our first step into the pool was too big after they got the deck poured so I wanted another step. It’s not the ideal but no one has tripped on it. I’d rather have it than not so I don’t complain about it.

So this was our original step into our pool. We have a cantilevered deck so it added another 4” making it, I think, a 15” step.

This is the added step.
