Irremovable Stains can I wait to drain and clean?

So glad I found this post! These look like the exact stains in my pool. Ive tried cleaning these stains for the last couple weeks using the tips in the identify stains page of the forum with no avail. I live in southern utah and have lots of dirt flying around. Is there any harm waiting to clean the stains and draining the pool until after the summer months?

Those stains were copper.

There is no harm to having copper stains other than aesthetics.

Do be sure you test your stains to see if they are actually copper or iron.

I plan on doing that. I didn't want to drain as prime swimming season for my kids is upon us. Thank you for the response.
