I am so very glad and proud to be a member here. I am a newbie on pools and currently at signing contract phase. I am building a 560 SF pool (18' x 36' deep of 3 to 5'). Adding an infiniti edged 6 x 8 ' 6jets 18" raised. Sun shelf of 6' x 15' with 3 bubblers. The equipment specs for this pool is as follows:
60 Amp Electric service to the supplier panel
Hayward Omni PL with smart phone app
Hayward 2.7 HP TriStar 950 variable speed pump for the pool and spa. Adding VS 500 pump for features
Hayward swimclear 150 Sq ft filter
Hayward 250k BTU gas heater for spa and 120k BTU heat/chill for pool
Salt cell Water system

Based on the above, what are thoughts...do I need to make any changes? Thank you so much for your help with this.

3' is extremely shallow. I'd recommend increasing the depth of your shallow end to 4'.

Adding VS 500 pump for features
What are the features?

Hayward swimclear 150 Sq ft filter
That's a tiny filter. Get the biggest cartridge filter you can afford.

Hayward 250k BTU gas heater for spa and 120k BTU heat/chill for pool
You might be better off with a 400k BTU heater and a dedicated chiller for the pool. Install external bypasses.

Salt cell Water system
Get one rated for at least twice the volume of your pool.

Do you have sketches/diagrams? Lights? Automation?

All of what they said ^^^^ I will add in to make sure to get all model numbers before you sign!!

Depth-4' to 5' OR just 4' all the way from a social pool.

Make sure it is WATER depth. Some people measure the depth from the bottom of the pool to the bottom of the coping. WATER depth is from the bottom of the pool to the middle of skimmer opening..

That's an interesting design. I like the swim lane. The shelf is huge--what's the planned depth?

Make sure all the lights point away from the house/main seating area. Pool main drain is optional. Make sure you have two skimmers independently plumbed to the pad.
