Several years ago I started with a Bestway Fast Set. We had a few nice summers of fun with it, but because of its round form, it used a lot of space in our, rather small, garden. So I decided to get rid of it and build a pool myself. How hard can that be, right?
I dug a hole in a corner of our garden, pour concrete, stacked bricks, plastered everything and then covered everything in fiberglass. I added the pipes in the side and a waterfall. Filtering is done by an Intex Krystal Clear sand filter pump.
Last year I added an Intex SWG and a small heat pump.
Since my pool is rather small, the SWG is a bit overkill, so I was looking for things I can change and found this forum. I hope to learn some things here on how to optimize the quality and minimize the amount of work.
