This is so awesome. I love seeing the pools get completed. It gives me hope for mine
I guess I need to read up on this, but I'm confused. Is this picture the acid wash step? What all do they do? The bottle is keep the hoses from scratching the plaster?
The hose doesn't scratch the plaster I think the issue is the force of the water hitting directly on the pool surface for extended periods can damage the plaster because it is still soft. That is why people want to put socks/rags on the ends of their hoses. This is a pretty good idea to float the stream of water away from the surface of the pool.
Yes. I thought it was creative.
Here is a video of the acid wash step
Wow - looks like your workers must be immune to Muriatic Acid fumes!!!
Our crew had masks on, and I get really affected by the fumes when I pour an acid into our pool.
Pool looks great - jump in soon!!!
What a pretty sight!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww you did it!!!!!!!! You REALLY do have a pool!
Kim
So awesome congrats!!!!
I love the Texas star. When I first moved to Texas I couldn't believe that it was on permanent stuff in houses. For example a lot of the model homes had the Texas star in their front door in leaded glass. I thought "ok that is a bit crazy". Then guess what? Our second home we bought here has the darn star in the front door. I am still debating on buying a new door but it is growing on me.
