We're considering either 9" or 15" for our tanning ledge. What made you decide on the 9"?

Honestly I don't know. I sat in one that was 12 and didn't t want quite that much and just picked 9 and went with it. Lol
Well, everything seems to be really progressing! I missed a lot while I was on vacation! But it is looking great! The gunite was the most exciting part for me (so far).
Neighbors were out looking. It was crazy! But our guys worked until about 8pm so everyone had made it home from work. I know you're excited. I can't wait to see it with the tile and coping. [emoji3]

Did they need to rough something in for your table post? I was thinking I'd see something in that area.
That is how the table looks now. That yellow post will come out, it's filled with gunite.

Now go get one of these. You will need it for the table area. I love mine for the bottom of my round pool.

Looks great. And any food that drops off the table can immediately be directed to the skimmer! Will you have any upright landscaping behind the waterfall area? Looks like there is some there already that may be part of the privacy plan.
There will be a pergola and fireplace there eventually. Probably have to wait till next year for those since I did so much upgrading in the pool lol
Love that pergola area behind the raised wall! That's exactly what I want, but I want it raised up a bit with a wooden deck for the floor. I thought we'd put our fire pit there, but I love the look your rendering has with the furniture. Nice! I hope you don't have to wait too long!

Thanks, this is the vision I had. Wanted to see the pool then the living area. Only two builders told me it was possible.
We are setting the piers now in the deck and will have it built in February so it's ready for next year. Then the outdoor kitchen. Happening in stages here

We have so much more we want to do! But it is a never ending drain in the pocketbook, so I totally understand. We will be working in stages too. [emoji3]

So, just came home at lunch and found the tile and coping crew at my house! Woohoo for surprises! They were supposed to come sometime next week!
