I just got this cleaner and it says to disconnect the SWG before using this. Does anyone have this and if so, did you disconnect the SWG or leave it connected? Seems like a lot of extra work to do this everytime to clean the pool.

I have the older model and have never disconnected our SWG. Not sure I have ever heard or read anything about this either... The only thing I need to do is close the rerun valve a bit, otherwise the bot wont stay on the ground. But I do have a much larger/upgraded filtration system.
