Has anyone installed a main drain in 9by16x52 rectangle pool really makes it easier to brush sides and btm !!

Never heard of anyone putting a main drain in the bottom of an Intex pool.

A popular Intex mod is to cut in a skimmer.

Why do you think a main drain will make it easier to brush sides and btm?

It's been done, but not sure the effort is worth the reward. A good thru-wall skimmer should suffice. Some previous discussions below.
