Intex 32x16x4 pool

It does work well.. You just have to dig down the 4 inches and make sure the block is level with the ground :)

Just curious - anyone know what would happen if the pavers ended up an inch or so higher than the rest of your base? I may be in this situation as we are putting our pool up on our sport court but were going to use boards to give some extra support to the legs (to spread the pressure out a little more on the sport court tiles, if you will).
In case anyone reads this down the road - we set our pool legs on 2x6 boards on top of our sport court, which made the legs about 1.5" higher than the pool itself. Haven't done any swimming yet because water is ice cold, but doesn't seem to have caused any issues on set up.
