Greetings,
We have the 20’ xtr intex pool.

We prepped an area by removing sod, and compacting/leveling 22’ gravel pad.

I have a gorilla pad to put over the gravel.

I have 12”x12”x 1.5” pavers to put under the legs.

Main questions:
- is the gorilla pad enough protection from the gravel?
-Can i skip the pavers under the legs since compacted gravel?
- If I still need the pavers, do I HAVE TO burry them, so level with ground?
- maybe I could switch out the pavers for short pieces of 1” think board and not burry?

As you might be able to tell, I’m not stoked to dig into the gravel to place the 12”x 12” pavers!

Thanks,
Warren

depending on your soil and assuming this is a round pool you can probably get away with no pavers if it is very level. my 18 footer lasted 11 years with no pavers but some of the legs definitely sank a bit when the ground got wet. and of course it was the low ones, never the ones that could use it. the replacement is getting blocks put in as we speak.
