Intermatic timer - gears not turning, but can hear motor

HI All,

I've been having some problems with my timer. I noticed that it was not coming on when it was supposed to, and then when I looked through the window, the gears are not turning, but I hear the motor and for lack of a better word a "clicking" sound. Could the gears be stuck? Is there anyway to get them going again without replacing the unit?

There is really nothing designed to be serviceable in the timer. You can take it out of the case and see if you can get it working. They wear out and folks replace it when it stops working. You can just buy the timer mechanisim without the case to install in the existing location.
