Anyone have any experience with this timer? Its managing our sheer descents pump. Sometimes, really usually, when manually turning them on, it takes more than one backward turn of the trigger. Wondering if that is normal or the sign of problems?

Only if its near the time it would ordinarily trigger on.

I always turn manual trip timers forward. The mechanism is made to turn that way and not backwards.
