I went through an ordeal last year getting a new liner installed. The pool company had to drain the pool and reseat the liner to fix numerous wrinkles. All that got sorted out, however there is another casualty. In the deep end I can feel a few rocks under the liner. I don't recall this with the previous liner or even the new liner before it was reseated, so I'm not sure what happened. The liner is very tight over those rocks. It is significant enough that you can feel it when brushing the pool.
So there seems to be a lot of swirl around pool cleaners cutting liners which have this vulnerability. Is this risk overblown? Or should I abstain from getting another Dolphin? I also have concerns about it getting hung up in that spot. I had a Dolphin Diagnostic previously that worked pretty well, but it used to get hung up on the drain a lot.
I have no interest in draining the pool and reseating the liner again!
