Intelliflo VSF making this 'tractor" sound

This sound developed. The PB has had a leak detection company investigating an elusive pool leak and I not this sound today. First time I've been to the equipment pad since the leak guy left on Friday. I don't know if it is related but this sound is not the normal silent whirring sound. Pool is less than 5-months old.
