I have seen mixed reports about Pentair pump corrosion. This is my 5 year old pump. I decided to scrape the paint off the best I could and apply Corrosion X last spring. When I returned to Florida after 5 months, the Corrosion X was starting to loose effectiveness in a few spots. I will reapply it every couple of months this season. I'm interested to hear how other folk's pumps are doing, corrosion wise.
