I want to install an Intelliconnect to control remotely above all the heater, but also the pump and the SWG.

My pool company sent an electrician who said we need to install a new line from the house. But our electrician said that was bull, and that the Intelliconnect draws so little power that we just need to plug it into the existing box. The result is that our pool company has been ghosting us for months.

So my question is exacly how much power should the Intelliconnect require for my application, if anyone knows.

Thanks

H,

As your electrician said, the IntelliConnect itself should not use much AC power at all.

Maybe the issue is that the IntelliConnect has two relays that need external AC power to work. Depending on what you want to do with these relays you might need more AC power then what is available at your pad right now.

I don't they are trying to cheat you, I just think there is a misunderstanding on how things are going to be set up.

Thanks,

Jim R.
