Hello, First post here, but have been reading posts for just about a year.
Our pool install will be starting in just a few weeks and I have a question on the SWG install. I'm trying to keep my equipment as compact as possible. I'd like to come out of the sand filter top mount valve and turn a 90 down and then have the SWG on the vertical run back toward the ground. I see in the manual an example of it mounted vertically, but the flow is bottom up. I just want to be sure the flow switch would operate correctly with the flow top to bottom. I'm just wondering if the weight of the water when there is no flow would keep the switch on?
Thanks for any guidance.
