I have a pentair intellichem system for chlorine and acid. My chlorine tank will dose chlorine at the discharge line connected to the injection valve, but when connected to the injection valve my ORP/chlorine levels remain unchanged. I thought I might have had a bad injection vavle so I replaced it and still do not have any chlorine entering the pool.
I'm wondering if the pump head is bad part 522474? The injection valve has what I belive is a spring loaded "bead" stopper inside that needs a certain amount of pressure to open. My system is 3+ years old now and maybe the pump isn't producing enough pressure to open the injection valve?
