Intellicenter not following Pool schedule, when Spa is being used during schedule end time

I have a very simple system... no spa, no heater... I have yet to find any issues with the original F/W.. Once everyone is happy with what they have I will upgrade..
Jim, you have a simple system and will likely not have problems with an upgrade.

However, my advice to all new IntelliCenter installs is to upgrade to 3.XXX immediately after you power it up and before you do any configuring. Many of the 1.065 to 2.XXX were in configuration errors when settings were carried over in the upgrade. 2.XXX was a major rearchitecting of the firmware. I don’t know if they fixed the conversion process to 3.XXX.

The cleanest way is to start with a clean 3.XXX install and do all the configuration on 3.XXX.

I would not hang out on 1.064. There have been many bug fixes and improvements. And the IntelliCenter can roll back to 1.064 if necessary with a few taps on the control panel. The system saves the entire old firmware for rollback, if necessary.

If you do have a problem in the 1.064 to 3.XXX upgrade the thing to do is wipe the system clean, put on 3.XXX, and reconfigure everything. You just did it so it should be easy to do again.

Allen,

Thanks... That is kind of my plan..

At this point I am still 'fumbling' my way around the various menus and screens, until I find what I am looking for.

Jim R.
Better to fumble on 3.XXX.

It only happens to me when I turn on the spa while the pool is scheduled and on, and the pool schedule ends while the spa is on. When the spa turns off (either manually or when its egg timer expires), the pool resumes but after its scheduled end time so it never turns off. Manual override and manual heat are also both disabled on my system, maybe this is related.

All the other scenarios mentioned do work correctly.

I have this same issue with my intellicenter (i'm on 3.002). my old intellitouch did not have this sillyness. i re arranged the timings of the schedule for spillway and spa only (if im in the spa, and the "spa only" schedule comes on (which calls for no heat), it will leave the heat off when its done after 10 minutes).
