Intellicenter Design Help

I’d like to wire it to this new pump so that whenever the solar is working (whether heating during the day or nocturnal cooling at night) it will turn on the pump if it’s off and run it at the right speed until the solar turns off or if the pump is on run the pump at the right speed if the pump is already on. Can anyone tell me how to wire that part up?

If you get the optional IO Board you can use the digital inputs to run the pump when the solar is on.

Wire through the booster pump relay on the Aqua Solar VOUT on the IO Board to one of the speed connections. That will run the pump when the solar turns on.

The Intelliflo3 says "If using digital inputs, schedules programmed via the Pentair Home app or drive touchscreen must be deleted." I do not know how it will work if you have a schedule to run the pump and also have the IO Board trigger connected.

If you are willing to buy the IO Board and wire it up let us know how it works.

Since I get the $300 rebate I went all out and got the IO board and the touchscreen.

What else could I potentially use the IO board for? Only features I have is colored lights, booster pump for the Polaris, and the IC40. Can I use the IO with any of those things?

IO Board as two relays you can use. Connecting devices to the relay will require some high voltage wiring.

It ain’t pretty at the moment but it’s all working. Solar set in that booster setting and link to a digital input is working too. It’s overriding the schedule program when the solar comes on, and then goes back to normal schedule when it turns off. Still need to try if it makes it come on when things are off though.

Just tried it from powered off and that worked too. Woohoo
