I was trying to up the percentage on my IC40 due to longer days. The Intellicenter2 app won’t let me set above 20 percent for spa mode. Is that normal?

Yes, IntelliChlor SWG % is limited to 20% when in spa mode.
Why do you think you need more then 20% output from an IC40 with an 800 gallon spa? Every hour of running your IC40 at 20% will give you 1.7ppm of FC in your spa.

My spa and pool are connected with spillover from the spa to pool in the pool mode. I just run in spa mode 30 minutes a day to ensure the spa water gets a good run through the filter (the spa drains only operate in spa mode). The rest of the day I run in pool mode. I just wanted to set 24 percent in both modes to generate 4 PPM chlorine for the day. Easier calculation was all. Thanks!
