Hey all,
Looking for ideas on how to integrate the Pentair Intellibrite 5G Color pool light with IntelliBrite Controller into a home automation system. From my reading, I could use one of Pentair's Intellitouch or EasyTouch controllers with the ScreenLogic2 interface, but it seems like a waste considering the only other Pentair product I have in my system is a single speed pump.
Any other options people are using? I like the simplicity of the IntelliBrite controller but would like to be able to integrate it via SmartThings or Hubitat so that I can have it turn on at sunset when my house lights start coming on.

If all you want your HA system to do is turn the lights on and off then conenct the AC power to the IntelliBrite controller and lights through a relay controlled by your HA. Your HA turns the power to the lights on and off and the IntelliBrite controller controls the colors.

Thanks for the help again!
So from what I understand, all I would need to do is add a relay on the hot line going into the controller? Sounds simple enough! I don't need to be able to tell Alexa to turn my pool purple, just want it to turn on and off with the rest of the house/yard lights.

I just recently (1 week ago) replaced my old trusty Hayward Colorlogic (11 yrs old) to Pentair Intellibrite because its the only one with this new wifi/bluetooth connected outdoor switch: Pentair Color Sync Controller 618031. It is working "OK". Control from the unit itself is easy and straightforward. The app that controls it can turn it on and off and set the different colors and "light shows". What doesn't work too well is the setting of the various controls: the twilight mode does not turn the light on at twilight-turns on when the sun is still pretty bright. The timer functions are not accurate: If I set light to turn on @ 8PM, it turns on @ 5PM-ish, I set the light to turn off @ 11PM, it turns off @ 8pm. It seems there is a 3 hr discrepancy between the switch time and my time zone. Solution was to set to turn on and off 3 hrs later. There is also no integration with Google or Alexa so this may not work in your case. It only controls the lights and not anything else.

As an update to this: I ended up using a Z-Wave relay made by Enerwave that I installed in the wall behind the controller. It can't adjust color, but it turns on my pool light at sunset (to whatever color is on the dial) and turns it back off at midnight or whenever I trigger my interior lights to shut off.
