Now make a pipe support to support the U shaped end near the cell. Maybe use pavers and a short piece of scrap pipe. If you put in the support now you will never step/trip on that exposed pipe - but if you don't do it now you will trip and bust the pipe the very next time you walk by it.

Also suggest some type of sun shade for the cell itself. Even wrapping some shade cloth around the cell and holding it in place with a removable ziptie is better than leaving it exposed to our intense sun.
