So I have been losing water in my 35k gallon vinyl liner pool, this started last summer. Pool is a rectangle, 44x20
I had pressure tests and 2 divers come and nothing was found.
Closed the pool in September and continued to lose water all winter.
Opened the pool and had a specialist come out.
The leak specialist believes its termites in the deep end. 75-100 tiny holes all over the deep end.
Has anyone dealt with this before and if so, what have you done? I have one company who recommends Replastering the Vermiculite floor in a 3 step process that includes DE powder being encapsulated between 2 layers of vermiculite. Roughly $3,500 for a 44x20 pool. Another pool company says they won't deal with the termites but have a pest control company come in and spray the pool for $400. Obviously, I am gathering more estimates as the liner + install itself is roughly $6k, plus whatever termite solution we go with.
