Hi there!
I continue to build my pool automation into Home Assistant. I'm currently working on the valve actuators and found this interesting thread about Automating Valves at will:
However, that's all done using WIFI. Does anyone have idea of how to do the same but using Ethernet? Open to adding a PI into the mix or Arduino or ESP32 to the mix, as necessary.
Here's one similar product but I don't think it has the "inching" feature (newbie here).
Haven't yet bought my Valve actuators. Researching but found nothing about quality so I guess I'll go with the Intermatic ones at about $120 a pop.
New year, new promises that we'll be finishing our pool automation

Finally installed home made automation to include variable position valve control.
Just thought I would share this in case anyone is looking for home made variable valve positioning. My prior valve control was just 2 wall switches to control waterfall -> IFCS and skimmer -> mian drain Valves. That can be seen here...
