I am getting a Low Salt Level warnings on my Hayward T-15 SWG. It is producing chlorine. Salt test with Taylor kit and pool store at 3400. My Hayward Goldline Aqua Pod shows a 2500 reading. What can I test to see if it is the flow switch or the SWG? Thank you in advance for your help and thoughts.

The SWG has one salt detection mechanism. What it says is what it detects. If it's still producing chlorine, I'd just leave it alone. Not sure there is a way to clean the sensor on that model but if so, then clean it.

Flow switch detects water flow, period.
You have a VSP, does the reading change when running lower RPM? At low RPM the plates in the cell may not be completely covered and the reading will be wrong. If the cell is mounted horizontally, invert the cell, put the "hump" down, and it may start reading correctly. If mounted vertically, you may need to increase the RPM to fill the cell.

As a follow up for anyone reading this in the future, I did not get an email letting me know of the above messages, so thus did not respond. I did replace the salt cell and the readings are now correct.

Sorry, but I did not get an email letting me know that I had gotten a response to my question. I replaced the cell. I wish that I would have gotten this message, as it might have helped me keep the old cell longer.
