I just played around with 1000 used as the salt target and current value on the app site. When I do that, it closely matches the values at the webpage site without any input for salt.

When I do the opposite, and put 1000 for the target and goal salt value on the webpage, it then matches the app site without any salt.

So, what is the correct answer? What is the correct reflection for CSI? The difference amounts to a value of approximately 0.09.

If you do not enter any salinity level in PoolMath it assumes 1000 ppm is in the water. That is an approximation as all pool water has salinity.

But mknauss, which CSI is correct? When 1000 is entered at one site, but not the other, the values are different.

In the app, it will carry over whatever salt level you entered in the past.
