I've had my pool for about 4 months now, I've been doing a decent job of keeping it clean and clear on my own. People have even complimented on how clear it was. A few weeks ago I ran out of chlorine pucks, and with my CYA being high, I made the change to liquid chlorine. Also decided to follow TFP recommended levels, which meant higher chlorine, higher pH, and lower TA than I had been doing and been led to believe was correct. I need to bring up my CH and lower my CYA some more still, but it's getting there Tonight I noticed my pool is CLEAR, CRYSTAL CLEAR! Clearer than ever and it just looked clean clean! Y'all have been a big help over the last few days, i really appreciate it. I will continue to bother y'all with questions lol.

My CYA 100 ppm all summer. My FC 5 ppm or better. I am a liquid chlorine user only...water stays nice and clear. Prior owner used tabs hence the CYA count.
