If I change the sand in my sand filter, should I change the laterals and internals? It’s a Pentair TR 1000.

From what I understand there’s 6 plastic laterals that can break over time. The sand and laterals could be 10+ years old. what internal should I consider replacing?

Depends on your pocket book, and the condition of the laterals.

If they are in good condition, there is no reason not to re-use them.

If you feel better putting new in, will sleep better at night, and $100 isn't that much coin, replace them.

Why are you replacing the sand? Sand has lasted billions of years, it will last your lifetime.

At 10+ years old, if you're going to replace the sand, I'd replace the internals also while you're at it..
