Ideal pump and SWG settings?

Okay, great. I have “pool orientation” tomorrow that was contracted through my builder but plan on maintaining the pool myself and I’m new to all of this.
Have him focus on the mechanicals of how your equipment operates. Touch every valve , understand what it does, and which way it turns. Know the way the water flows through each pipe.

Have him show you how to clean your filter, pump basket, and skimmers.

Review what every button , relay, and circuit breaker do in your Aqualink.

Don’t have him spend much time on water chemistry. It is probably wrong.

Thanks for the information. Equipment is definitely what I want to focus on as water chemistry, testing, and adjustments is pretty straight forward

My FC is 7.6 ppm with my salt cell
Set at 75%. CYA is 0 (I plan adjust to appropriate level , just got started). Pump is currently running 24 hours. Does that sound accurate?

It is what you say it is.

You need to get at least 60ppm of stabilizer in the water ASAP. Use the sock method.

7ppm of FC is too high and harsh with 0 CYA.

Do your FC testing using a 10ml sample and 0.5/drop instead of a 25ml sample and 0.2/drop.

Yes, plan to add stabilizer this evening. Thanks.

Well he said there is a no need for CYA... so that immediately contradicted everything I have read on here
