Did swapping out the swcg remedy your problem? I have been struggling with the same problem with a ichlor 30 over the last week or so. (AC error code and all lights flashing red). If I cut power to the unit for a day the cell will work for a few hours then fault again. Testing voltage out of the power box leading to the ichlor 30 cell I get the following readings...My SWCG just started to do this as well. One month after the warranty window of course! What I've done to date:
Unit if wired for 230VAC input
1. Checked voltages OUT of the original Power Center - 27VDC AND 12.8 VAC on red/black.
2. Replaced Power Center with new unit and check voltages OUT of the new unit- 40VDC, no VAC.
3. Unit still flashes AC with both Power Centers.
Next steps save for inputs from you all:
1. Check power out of display unit at pool store if they will let me. If voltages are the same, replace Ichlor 30 SWCG unit.
2. If voltages are different, replace both units.
Thoughts?
DC voltage
32.8v between red and black wires
26.9v red and green or red and white wires
AC voltage
73v between red and black wires
59v red and green or red and white wires
38v AC direct from the transformer
0v DC direct from the transformer
Mine is also weeks out of warranty with only 3100 hours.
